The Keizwen have a kitsune-inspired face shape, with a stiff, quill-like mane. Their wings have a membrane instead of being feathered itself, but the backside of the wings do have tiny 'hairs' down it that allow for things to slide off it one way, but get stuck on the other. On the underside is a much looser, softer version of this that is meant as insulation.
While they can fly, they have a very fast metabolism and burn calories very quickly, causing them to need a lot of food. They have a large sternum, much like a bird, and powerful pectoral muscles to help in flight. However, they are exceptionally good at gliding, which is how they spend most of their flight. Because of this, they prefer access to high ledges and surfaces.
To aide in their love for heights, they are exceptional climbers. They have large bony claws in their hands and feet that are almost useless for actual hunting, but are perfect for climbing rough surfaces like trees or cliffsides. Paired with a prehensile tail, Keizwen are amazing tree climbers.
The whisker-like antennae that the Keizwen have resemble something between a moth's at times, or a cat's at others. This is often the most unique part of the Keizwen's face, the differences used to help identify individuals,
